Guidelines for Parents. Please follow and respect the following:
- School begins at 9am. Parents must ensure your child is on time and supervised until the teacher collects the line.
- At collection time parents collect your child from the designated area in the school yard.
- Parents are not permitted to accompany your child into the school building at arrival/collection times.
- Dogs and pets (even when on a lead or carried) are not permitted on the school grounds for health and safety reasons.
- If you must collect your child early, you may be required to wait, so please show patience and courtesy to our staff.
- Students must always wear their full school uniform. School tracksuits can only be worn on PE days. Hats/scarves/headscarves are not part of the full school uniform.
- Jewellery and shellac nails are not permitted due to safety reasons.
- Parents will be required to explain the reason why your child is not abiding by the school uniform policy.
- Parents must check and sign your child’s school diary and help with/check their homework.
- If homework has not been completed, a note must be sent to the class teacher with the reason why the work was not done.
- Parents should ensure that their child does not use a phone on the school grounds, otherwise it will be confiscated and returned to the child the following day after school.
- The school does not cater for birthday parties, birthday cakes and treats are not permitted in the classroom due to health and safety.
- Parents are requested to inform the school if there is any change in address/ Tel. numbers.
- Parents should use the school app explaining the absence of your child.
- Parents are not permitted to meet teachers during school hours. In special cases, parents may be allowed to meet the teacher with prior permission from the principal.
- Parents are required to download the school app. All communication from the school is delivered through the app. The school is not responsible for texting/replying to individual parents.
- Communication with teachers online is not permitted. Classdojo is used by teachers to broadcast information to parents.
- If parents want to meet with a teacher you must make an appointment through the school secretary. Parents may be required to wait, so please show patience and courtesy to our school staff.
- Parents can access further school information and policies on the school website and school app.
