Write about someone you admire. It might be someone you know or someone in Ireland who you admire at the moment. For example the health care workers.

What do they do each day that you admire them for?

Have they worked hard for a dream or goal?

Do they help other people each day?

What traits do you admire in this person? For example are they kind, strong, brave, innovative etc

Would you like do what they do when you grow up?

What goals could you set now to end up like them? For example do you need to do a course? What training would you need?

Reread what you’ve written, looking at your punctuation and spellings.

Have you used paragraphs?. If you have computer you could type your work out.

Spellings for the week

Please do 4 spellings a week to learn and put into sentences. Use online dictionaries to look up definitions and please write these definitions down. If parents could do a spelling test at the end of the week to help the girls stay on task that would be great.

SPHE:

This week I want you to write a Best Possible Self Diary. Imagine you have finished secondary school, you have worked hard and everything has gone your way.

What are you doing?

What are you studying?

Where are you working?

Are you doing something you love?

How do you feel?

What other plans for the future do you have.

It also would be a good idea to keep meditating as we’d being doing in class as this will be helpful to you if you are anxious or unsettled at this time.

Here is the link www.otb.ie/ weaving wellbeing and go to Mindfulness Meditations.

Stay safe and I’ll have more work for you all next week !
