Tables:Revise x7 this week

Use your speedy tables board for daily practise.

3rd Class

Do 2 rows of x7 speedy tables on Monday, 3 on Tuesday, 4 on Wednesday/Thursday and Friday

Remember if you know a multiplication fact, you can say another multiplication fact and 2 division facts:

If you know that 7X2=14 then you also know that 2x7=14

You also know that 14 divided by 7=2 and that 14 divided by 2=7

Do the activity below to see how multiplication and division relate to eachother

Do Mental Maths Tests 27, 30 and 31 each day Monday to Wednesday (If you can, email them on Friday)

Topic: Fractions

Continue to use multiples of a number to get a fraction. If you need to get 1/7 of 28 you can:

  1. Use 28 objects and put them into 7 equal groups
  2. Draw 28 objects and draw lines to make 7 equal groups
  3. Use your multiples of 7: count in 7s until you reach 28. 7,14,21,28- the answer is 4

Try getting 1/7 of other multiples of 7: 49,21,63,7 etc

Use the game below to practise fractions of a shape.
