Mornings are a great time to do some physical activity to help children get energized and awake. This week I would love for you to start everyday with some exercise.
Here are some movements that can be done on the spot and only take ten minutes or less - these can be done throughout the day at any time if your child needs to refocus.

u_e words - flute, mute ...
a_e words- make, sale...
Put these words into sentences.

Below I have attached some maths work sheets that the children can do. Copy these activities down onto your notebooks.
I have put the class level beside each activity.

After your child has completed this activity in their notebook test them by calling out different doubles
- What is 9+9 ? 8+8? etc
First class - Subtraction
1st & Second class : Time
First & second Class: Mental Maths
Second Class - Use your less than/ more than/ equal to signs < > =
Second Class: Addition with regrouping
Science:
Study this picture of the human skeleton - now read names of each part of the human skeleton. See if you can say what each part of the body is.
See if you can draw and lable the human skeleton in your copy.
P.E.
Running is one of the simplest and most basic ways the human body is built to move and there are lots of ways to make running fun
Running games:
1. RED LIGHT, GREEN LIGHT
This classic running game is great for interval training as well as building physical endurance and listening skills. When you call out “green light,” the runner can start running as fast as they can. When you call out “red light,” the runner must freeze in place until “green light” is called out again. If “yellow light,” is called out the runner must slow their pace until it’s time to freeze or run once again.
2. WACKY LAPS
To make running laps more fun and interesting for young runners, introduce Wacky Laps, in which they run every lap in a different (and wacky!) way. Students can run the first lap to music, the second lap backward, and the third lap as slowly as possible. They can run a lap weaving among cones or jumping over mini-hurdles (such as bean bags or any other small item that won’t trip them up). Letting the runner brainstorm their own Wacky Laps is another great way to keep them engaged.
Beyond the classroom:
This website shows ways in which the children can practice their fundamental movement skills:

If any of you want to share any pictures of ways that your child is keeping active you can send them to the new school mobile numer on whatsapp where they will be shared on the school website.
