This is week 2 of the capital letters. We are on page 33 of the handwriting book. It is more practise of the letters you learned last week. Remember to have a look at the last picture on this page. Watch out for small and capital Vs!

05/05/20

This week we are moving on to the capital letters! They begin on page 32 of your handwriting book. The letters this week are A C N M O U V W X and Y. These letters were chosen because you don't have to learn anything new! They are the exact same as the small letters, just a bit bigger. Have a look at the last picture at the end of the page to see the size of these letters (and make sure to change the Vs to proper pointy Vs!)

This week is a final revision of the small letters. We're on page 31 of your handwriting book. I've put another picture at the bottom of this page to show you the letters we learned that look different to what's printed in the book, for example: p, b, and v. Make sure to have a look before you start you own.

Remember to tick a face at the bottom of the page when you're finished.

Next week, we're starting the capital letters!

This weeks new letter is small x. It's on page 29 of your handwriting book. Make sure to read the tips in the top corner of the page. Say to yourself: "Join, x, join, cross". Have a look at the videos for help.

When you are ready to write the words, look at the next video. Remember to fix the b in boxes, the v in vixen and the p in xylophone. They look a bit strange in your book!

Remember to tick a face at the bottom of the page when you're finished. I hope it's a happy face for everyone!
